The 11. June 2016 was the day of German Forces, known as Tag der Bundeswehr.

Every year this event take place at different facilities and cities in the country.

This time the Army airfield near Bückeburg was one of the spots. It’s the home of the Heeresfliegerwaffenschule, the school of Army Aviation.

It houses some of the most modern simulators in Europe and a lot of future pilots, civil and military, are trained on this aerodrome.

That was also a reason for some very interesting guests at this nice event like helicopters from Sweden, Finland, Austria, Switzerland and of course Germany.
